We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Lead Tester/Manager to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Job description:

Manages and leads overall contractor-led testing related activities to include planning, execution, and reporting of the Contractor test program. Ensures all requirements are verified and validated through testing. Participates as a member of the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and leads supporting efforts for the Government Test Team through test planning, execution, and reporting.

Duties:
•Work with a team of 5-7 individuals to support the Test and Evaluation of a COTS suite
•Work with Subject Matter Experts to prepare documentation of test schedules, development testing and operational testing requirements, and provide updates to Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
•Complete tasking under Government direction. Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings.
•Review, implement, and maintain plans and tracking mechanisms that map programmatic requirements to planned test events.
•Develop technical justifications in support of programmatic positions and decisions in support of planned test events.
•Coordinate with Fleet and other stakeholders to develop and promulgate a single integrated plan to support all test events.
•Provide support in researching, planning, and conducting and evaluating combat system integration and test and trial activities.
•Maintain awareness of ship schedules, casualty reports, material condition and readiness status in order to keep the Program Manager appraised of any impacts to mission or test events
•Develop briefings, reports, naval messages, and official correspondence on behalf of Program Office
•Prepare responses to reports and questions from stakeholders, including DOT&E and GAO
•Represent and provide support to Program Office for Operational Test and Evaluation Meetings and various other test planning events and provide after action reports to keep the team informed of meeting results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years overall experience with 3 years of specialized experience as a Lead Tester/Test Manager, supporting test activities associated with the design, development, certification, and implementation of IT

• Secret Clearance
• Per DODM 5200.02 , as an IT-1 position, requires ability to receive a favorable adjudication of SSBI or SSBI-PR
• IAM level 3 certification (per DoD 8570)
• DoD 5000.x familiarity
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and provide concise analysis
• Ability to work within small groups and brief findings to senior personnel
• Excellent command of oral and written English language
Ability to write complex reports in a clear and precise fashion.
