Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our Augusta, GA based team with a duty location in the Boston, MA area at Hanscom AFB.

• Serves as Unisys representative with our Air Force customer located at Hanscom AFB.
• Serves as deputy program manager for Service Delivery Contract across all CLINs reporting to the Program Manager.
• Works within and across practices and organizations to design and provide leading-edge technology or application solutions that result in exceptional customer delivery and experience.
• Using great interpersonal skills, works closely with the customer to ensure attainment of mission objectives and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Engineers, develops, implements and supports integrated solutions for client engagements.
• Should be comfortable engaging the USAF’s highest technical leaders in order to develop and integrate the most complex, leading edge, IT service delivery system.
• Must be able to quickly grasp and operationalize USAF technical requirements and translate them into business solutions for this global customer.
• Leads the technology or application solution for multiple projects. Serves as part of a mentoring team to advise and assist the USAF client in the smart application and adaption of commercial applications and best practices in ITSM and service delivery technology to better support their organizations and Airmen.
• Works to understand the customer’s current and future requirements in order to ensure that a steady stream of follow-on services are made available to complement the original services offering.
• Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with Unisys third party companies and with other Unisys business units.
• Uses these relationships to the best advantage of Unisys in client engagements.
• Capable of presenting technology or application based papers to major conferences and publishing papers in professional journals and publications.
• Promotes Unisys and one’s own capabilities by networking with peers in other companies and actively supporting professional organizations and user groups.


• Bachelor's degree and 9 years overall relevant experience

• Should have a minimum 0f 7 years IT project management experience with a minimum of 3 of the 7 years of experience directly supporting 15,000 or more users or equivalent.
• Must have experience developing implementation plans to achieve goals based on the current “as-is” environment, and future-state “to-be” environment.
• Must have experience executing project plans while identifying and mitigating identified risks.
• Must have experience delivering IT solutions within budget and schedule.
• Should have experience working in or with the USAF or DoD.
• Must have strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Must be capable of leading and being a member of a team.
• Needs to be a self-starter, a strong desire to learn, grow, and able to work independently.

• PMP desired,
• Secuirty Plus desired
