Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented DevOps Tools Administrator to join our team in Reston, Virginia to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Position Available September 2018 !

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the deployment, operations, and support of toolset to support a large SAFe development project
  • IT System administration, including Linux and Windows administration, Directory services (LDAP and Active Directory), Relational database administration (PostgreSQL and MSSQL preferred), Networking
  •  Software development and configuration, ranging from coding and scripting activities to application development (source code management, CI/CD, test automation, etc.)
  •  Cloud-based system administration, client support and new service offering development, including cloud technology concepts like Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Database as a service (DaaS)
  •  Customer-focused IT Service Management duties: Help desk, production operations, on-call support
  • Configuration, administration, utilization of Agile Toolsets (ex: Atlassian Suite (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence, BitBucket/git))
  • Foster knowledge sharing and assist with creation and delivery of best practices documentation and training materials.
Requirements

REQUIRED

  • US Citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance.
  • 8 years of of overall experience in IT Field.
  • Experience with JIRA, Atlassian Chef, Maven, Jenkins, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • 5+ years of IT experience in any of the following: Software development (coding/scripting), Application development support, infrastructure or database administration, networking
  • Passionate interest in evaluating, deploying and supporting development toolset for an Agile and DevSecOps environment supporting 50+ resources
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, DevOps and other Agile development techniques, as well as DevOps concepts
  • Agile and/or Scrum team experience
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence, BitBucket/git) or CAST utilization and/or administration
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure: AWS preferred

Education / Security Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related foeld.
