Job Description

We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Enterprise Service Desk Level 2 Agent interested in joining our team at the Pentagon, Washington, DC, and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Provide Tier 3 level technical support and oversee day-to-day operations of Tier 2 and Tier 3 staff supporting Microsoft technologies including Microsoft O365 cloud Email, calendar, contacts, OneDrive for Business, etc.  Provide consistent feedback to upper management and the customer regarding the operational health of the system.  Adhere to SLA and operational requirements and policies.  Act as liaison for driving escalations and system issues to include working with outside vendors and customers for return to service resolution.  On-call/Holiday/ and weekend work required.  Develop team process and procedure documents and enforce compliance.  Responsible for on-boarding new hires to team.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of related work experience or equivalent blend of education and experience. At least eight years of experience supporting Microsoft technologies such as Exchange and the office suite of products 
  • At least five years’ experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Windows software deployment at an enterprise level
  • At least two years’ experience with PowerShell
  • At least five years’ experience with conducting and communicating root cause analysis 
  • Technical knowledge of Windows 2008 R2 Server/Windows 2012 Server operating systems, Windows 7/8/8.1/10 operating systems, Office 2010- 2016, Office 365 Admin, and Exchange 2010 - 2013. 
  • Strong IT troubleshooting and problem solving skills 
  • Knowledge of handheld devices such as Blackberries and other mobile technology platforms (iOS and Android) 
  • Experience with administration of a MSFT Azure environment 
  • Experience logging and documenting incidents utilizing trouble ticketing systems such as ServiceNow 
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports as required.
