Job Description

Based at our Global Headquarters in Blue Bell, Pa, The Senior Manager, Global Rewards, will have the primary responsibility for the design and management of the short-term incentive plans. Specific program accountabilities may include one or more of the following: corporate variable compensation plans, sales incentives, and employee recognition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure competitiveness, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives of global incentives and recognition programs
  • Conduct market and best practice research, models potential financial cost, evaluates advantages and disadvantages of alternative compensation plan designs, and develops design recommendations in conjunction with Global Rewards Directors and the VP, Global Rewards
  • Provide ongoing project management for assigned programs.  Manages annual compensation processes, partners with HR business partners and external vendors, develops/updates employee communication, and maintains plan documents.
  • Provide advice and counsel in area of expertise to HR colleagues.
  • Work closely with Legal, Accounting, Payroll, Finance, and Tax to ensure programs comply with DOL, IRS, SEC, and FASB requirements.  Keeps informed of regulatory and legislative changes affecting compensation.
  • Collaborate with regional and business unit Global Rewards colleagues and HR business partners through ongoing communication and change management as needed to support effective program execution.
  • Lead or supports ad-hoc compensation projects in support of strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to Global Rewards managers and analysts.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field, advanced degree or applicable certification preferred
  • Typically 5 years of progressively responsible related experience
  • Strong analytical and technical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of compensation principles including regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Ability to independently manage processes and projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across levels, geographies, and functions
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a strong team-based environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Supervisory experience, strongly preferred
