Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented Industrial Security Rep I to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Position Duties:

• Responsible for the administration of records, documentation, clearance verifications, tracking and reporting of data.

• Assists the FSO with administrative, organizational, and reporting tasks
• Support the FSO with the maintenance of security databases

• Organize and track Public Trust and other government background checks
• Organize and track processes for unclassified visits and contract activities
• Maintain Employee Security Files per government regulations
• Support Unisys Federal employees with tasks requiring access to locked spaces
• Process outgoing visit authorizations for personnel assigned to contracts that require cleared or un-cleared access
• Validate the personnel security clearance of new personnel. If required, initiate action for the proper investigation to be conducted.
• Define, update, maintain and produce reports from JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System) DISS database
• Conduct briefing/debriefing of individuals requiring access as required.
• Participates in security self-assessments, and DSS Vulnerability Assessments and all other audits
• Maintain access control systems including badging, access levels, visitor badges, and temporary badges.
• Prepare and submit CAC Requests as required, following individual processes across multiple contracts

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• No Security Experience Required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Access
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to complete FSO Certification Training
