Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented ITSM Solution Architect to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Must have TS with SCI Eligibility

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a Subject Matter Expert in assessment, design, and implementation of the processes and ServiceNow tools needed to create an ITSM framework that support the program’s mission delivery needs and position Unisys as a leader in ITSM-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) based service delivery for our Federal Clients.
  • Perform assessment of current customer ITSM capabilities
  • Develop transition approach to establish customer’s ITSM organizational process framework to include a roadmap and timeline for implementation
  • Lead Implementation of proposed ITSM roadmap to standup new ITSM capability, and mature in a risk adverse manner.
  • To support automation beyond what ServiceNow can provide, perform a market survey of ITSM tools, assess organizational best-fit, recommend tool suite to support proposed ITSM process framework.
  • Research emerging innovations in ITSM solutions. Leverages best-of-breed Unisys and commercial ITSM solutions to the best advantage of Unisys in supporting client requirements.
  • Develop & implement solution prototypes and deliver solution demonstrations.
  • Provide Organizational Change Management (OCM) subject expertise to ensure successful implementation of proposed ITSM maturity roadmap.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports business capture activities as a solution engineer in providing innovative and effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborates with business development team to identify customer needs and new business opportunities. Supports pre-sales activities and leads technical proposal development.
  • Author whitepapers and presents in public events. Supports pre-sales customer meetings.

Requirements

Require Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Expert Knowledge of ITIL service management processes
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in performing organization-level assessment of ITSM capabilities, to include process maturity, staff capability, and organizational readiness
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing ITSM maturity assessment results and establishing a transition roadmap that addresses organizational needs and constraints.
  • Experience identifying potential design, performance, security, and support problems, including ability to identify technical risks/challenges and develop relevant mitigation strategies.
  • 3+ years of solution development experience in standing up organizational level ITSM frameworks, including process development, technical solution development, and phased implementation.
  • Experience in data and service integration, portal and dashboard development, service automation and orchestration, analytics.
  • Experience in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) reporting, Service Catalog development, and Service Catalog driven automation.
  • Ability to interface with team members at all levels, including business operations, finance, technology, and management.
  • Experience working with US Federal Government customers;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience or knowledge on Cloud and DevOps technologies (such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, VMWare, Ansible, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in leading team through ITSM capability implementation and maturity.
  • Project planning and project management
  • Experience with developing in ServiceNow and Remedy environments
  • Experience in applying artificial intelligence in end user support preferred
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management solution, such as Splunk preferred 

Education / Certification:

  • Master's Degree & 15 years of experience
