Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented Master Data Management Specialist to join our team in Crystal City - Arlington, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

In this role you will

  • Data management, data governance and enabling data management systems.
  • Set master data management standards, define and enforce data governance procedures and ensure data integrity across multiple functions, publish data quality score card and responsible to meet data accuracy goals.
  • Managing enterprise data quality management system implementation for both master data and transactional data, leading master data management system implementation including product data hub, customer data hub and supplier data hub.
  • Leading and driving data integrity and awareness, implementing industry leading best practices for data management and data security.
  • Collaborate with multiple functional teams including development, operations, and security teams as well as end-user customers
  • Apply various discrete optimization techniques in order to produce solutions to large-scale optimization problems; techniques may include integer programming including event simulation, dynamic programming, local heuristics, metaheuristics, and more
  • Facilitate the development of predictive models using machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods such as classification, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation tools; perform exploratory data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data, and identify patterns 
  • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to present and articulate the techniques and major results generated using non-technical language 
  • Derive innovative, repeatable, business use cases for real world optimization techniques, and quickly develop prototypes to test these use cases
  • Work within on-prem data centers and cloud environments, including AWS and Azure and within an Agile and DevSecOps framework.


  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Must work within the D.C. Metro Area
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (minimum) of relevant work experience.
  • Agile and DevSecOps experience
  • Must have abilities to work cross-functionally, troubleshoot, analyze and solve complex problems, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Delivery within the Department of Homeland Security a plus
