Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented .NET Developer to join our team in Kingstowne, VA, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Duties :

  • Perform full life cycle development and production support for multi-platform software applications/user interfaces, processes, tools, and more.
  • Assist with migration and modernization of software systems and components.
  • Use modern software engineering tools including Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, HP Quality Center and JIRA for system/component design, development, documentation and testing
  • Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand requirements, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations
  • Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology 
Requirements

Primary Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Classic ASP, MSVC++, COM/ATL development with Visual Studio
  • 5+ years’ experience with HTML4/5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS 2/3
  • 3+ years’ experience Java development with Eclipse/NetBeans
  • 2+ years’ experience C#/ASP.Net

  • Microsoft Windows 2008/2012
  • Microsoft IIS 7.x/8x
  • RHEL/WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat
  • Atlassian JIRA
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Microsoft SQL/Oracle PL/SQL
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Desired knowledge and experience includes
  • Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job done
  • Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight-deadline environment
  • Superior written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment
  • Must work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels 
  • Other:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of IT related experience or equivalent.
  • Clearance – Must pass CBP BI.  Must have a DoD Secret or be eligible to obtain one
  • Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen
