Job Description

We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Performance Testers interested in joining our team in Reston, VA and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

The performance tester has extensive experience with performance and scalability testing, and is familiar with appropriate performance testing methodology and tools. They have a good understanding of formal testing approach, including designing, creating, and executing test cases from requirements and producing test reports. The role requires good communication skills with good command of performance testing knowledge. The resource should have a good understanding of the Web Services APIs and MQ Architecture and hands on experience in using Web Services APIs and MQ messages to drive the workload using the ParaSoft LoadTest tool.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

Define the test strategy for customer requirements to include designing, writing, and executing Performance test cases and procedures that define specific test criteria and the expected results to be achieved

Identify, analyze and document test results

Verify and validate resolutions to problems

Attend requirements analysis working sessions along with design reviews and working sessions, when applicable, to gain a thorough understanding of the intent of the requirements and software system design. This knowledge will be essential for producing and reviewing test plans, test cases and procedures


Position Requirements:


Education/Experience:  Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant work experience.

Must have experience working on IRS (Internal Revenue Service) projects

Active IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Clearance preferred
