Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Reston, VA and begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, leading and closing large/complex sales pursuits in the federal government market – Department of Defense.
  • Leverage knowledge/expertise of the operations and solutions teams to identify, lead and win deals.
  • Maintaining and developing trusted client relationships within the Department of Defense.
  • Winning new business with the Department of Defense.
              

Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant sales experience with at least 5 years’ experience with the Department of Defense – heavy focus on Navy with knowledge of/experience with Army and COCOMs.
    • 5 years of IT sales experience selling $50M+ IT services contracts.
    • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets with the Department of Defense.
    • Knowledge and experience with the Department of Defense buying criteria, acquisition vehicles, procurement trends/tendencies, and an understanding of the current competitive landscape.
    • Ideal candidate will have sold in excess of $200M in single awards over the past 3 years within the Department of Defense.
