We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented Training Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

The Training Specialist has experience in developing, writing and creating training materials, training plans, and training programs for an IT organization, program or project.  Must have experience in developing training materials for various presentation media, such as written, visual and web based classes.

Responsible for planning, developing, organizing and directing technical training of employees and customers in the installation, operation and maintenance of the company's products and services.  Works with Program Managers, technical support and manufacturing divisions to ensure course materials provide current and relevant product features.  Establishes training requirements, standards and schedules.  Plans course design and support documentation.  Instructs participants and subcontractors as necessary, in both classroom and laboratory environments.  Analyzes technical training needs, prepares special courses and related manuals and acquires resources needed to carry out training programs.  Keeps abreast of new and evolving research, methods, and techniques for training technical personnel to meet job requirements.  Evaluates effectiveness of training.


Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent
